Review a Codex request on iPhone or Apple Watch. Choose whichever is convenient. You do not need to approve on both devices.
Read before you decide
Check the operation details, project, and task context. Choose Allow once to authorize this request, or Deny to withhold authorization. An approval is not confirmation that execution has completed.
Check the synced status
After handling a request, refresh the other device to see its status. If it still shows older information, check again before submitting another decision.
When a button is unavailable
A request may have expired, already been handled, or still be submitting. Check its status and the task result. Do not assume another approval is needed.
If you do not get a notification
Permissions, watch fit, silent mode, Focus, and the test version can affect delivery. During testing, open the app to check pending requests too.
If a decision is unconfirmed
Restore your connection and refresh. Do not authorize again just to check whether the first decision arrived. If the result is still unclear, contact support. See the connection recovery guide for more help.
